Gyrl Wonder College Ambassador

will:

  • Represent Gyrl Wonder on their college campus through tabling events, campus-wide events, and/or other outreach events 

  • Promote Gyrl Wonder and its events through bulletin boards and brief presentations at various student organization mass meetings  

  • Be the liaison between prospective gyrls and Gyrl Wonder 

  • Create and foster relationships with prospective gyrls on their campus 

  • Increase Gyrl Wonder’s database through the recruitment of new gyrls

  • Create content for Gyrl Wonder’s social media account through capturing footage of tabling events, outreach events/initiatives, recruitment, etc. 

  • Research and find new ways to engage with prospective gyrls on their college campus

  • Be able to receive a FREE Gyrl Wonder Membership to access the Gyrl Wonder portal

  • No, gyrl! Gyrl Wonder would prefer for an existing member to fill the position of a Campus Ambassador, but we’re open to expanding our database of gyrls.

  • Absolutely, gyrl! All Gyrl Wonder Campus Ambassadors will be paid for their efforts and hard work while also having the opportunity to receive additional perks.

  • The time commitment may vary each week depending on upcoming events and meetings. On average, a Gyrl Wonder Campus Ambassador will work about 8-10 hours per week.

  • Gyrl, we’re so glad you asked! The timeframe of this ambassadorship will begin in July of the respective year and will end in May of the following year.

  • Once a gyrl applies, the application process doesn’t stop there! There will be multiple rounds of interviews. However, you will be notified approximately 2-3 weeks after interviewing that you have or haven’t moved on to the next round.

  • If you’re looking to study abroad, what a wonderful opportunity! Unfortunately, Gyrl Wonder is looking for gyrls who are enrolled in in-person classes on their respective college campus.

  • Unfortunately, the Gyrl Wonder Campus Ambassador program is only offered to undergraduate students.

  • Only US citizens are able to apply for the Gyrl Wonder Campus Ambassador Program.

  • As an active College Ambassador, you could potentially receive the following perks:

    Being able to receive a FREE Gyrl Wonder Membership to access the Gyrl Wonder portal

    Receiving a stipend each semester for their efforts in ensuring a successful Campus Ambassador program

    Receiving a book stipend solely to purchase textbooks and school supplies

    Being able to skip the application process for the Gyrl Wonder Leadership Academy

    Being able to have exclusive access and conversations with successful women within the Gyrl Wonder network

    Being able to receive exclusive Gyrl Wonder swag and merchandise

    Having the opportunity to have Tola L. do a speaking engagement at your respective college/university
